Location: Waterfront foot of S. Connecticut Way, renamed Royal Brougham Way.
On land reclaimed in 1897 by dredging to two feet above extreme high tide, Moritz Thomson built one of the first businesses on the old tidelands south of King Street and opened his Centennial Flour Mill in 1898.
